Wander Wednesday | The Maroon Bells

The Maroon Bells in Aspen, Colorado is absolutely one of my favorite scenic places to visit. This view is so magical to see, especially during a beautiful sunset, you'll never want to leave. The Maroon Bells are two beautiful peaks, rising just behind Maroon Lake, which is a crystal clear lake, that mirror's the beautiful mountains, and greenery around them. These peaks are the most photographed peaks in all of North America.

There are wonderful trails all around the area that you can explore. And if you're daring & experienced enough, you could even try to climb up to one of the amazing peaks.

To get to the area, you can either drive up yourself, take a bus from Aspen/Smowmass, or hike up the road through the luscious greenery.

So, if you ever find yourself in or around Aspen, make the short detour to see this beautiful sight. You won't be disappointed, I promise.

    1. Yes you do! It's absolutely gorgeous! I would love to live there one day, but I'm not sure I can handle the cold, being a Texan. :)
